I.M.T.C.
Lupandilo (Christian Institute of Medical Technique--Lupandilo Campus)
opened September 15, 1980, under the leadership of Bishop Ngoy Kimba M.
Wa Kadilo. From 1980-1983, IMTC Lupandilo operated out of The United
Methodist guest house and Shungu Memorial Clinic. In 1983 the institute
moved into its current location. A degree from I.M.T.C. is similar to
being a licenced L.P.N. in America. (not a full college degree)
Current Fundraising Projects:
-construction of six
classrooms
-purchase of seven computers
-purchase of photocopier
-purchase of solar panel
-purchase of medical textbooks and reference materials for library
-purchase of anatomic, obstetric and orthopidic mannequin for the
technic hall
-purchase of echography and monitoring
-purchase of labratory supplies
-purchase of supplies for Lupandilo clinic (beds, bed-sheets, bed pans,
uniform bassins)
-scholarships for female students ($150 per student per year)
