The main ministry of the Department of Christian Communication is the creation and distribution of Matunda (Fruit), a conference newsletter that is published every three months. Started in 1970, is it now written by Pastor Kitenge, who uses his own money to keep the small publication afloat. Pastor Kitenge also serves as the conference’s historian, creating pamphlets documenting major events, sermons, and the history of this region. Due to funding restraints, only a few copies of these documents exist.

Dream of the Department:

The department dreams of having the budget to access modern communication technologies such as a computer, a spot on the radio, local television, and the internet. Pastor Kitenge, as head of the department, would like to have training in all of these areas.
