The
carpentry program started in 1999 under the leadership of Bishop Ntambo
Nkulu. Its mission is to produce furniture for North Katanga
Conference’s schools, churches, parsonages, clinics, and other
buildings. This has included beds for the orphanage, desks for schools,
rafters, doors, and windows for new buildings, and pews for churches.
Wish List:
- New saw blades (most are
badly chipped/broken)
- Modern carpentry
equipment (for making curves and other shapes on furniture)
- Safety equipment
(masks, goggles, etc.)
