I
brought them into a fertile land, to enjoy its harvests and its other
good things... -Jeremiah 2:7

As we look around our beautiful land, we see that God
has given us a paradise: plentiful land, rain, sun, and fertile soil.
It is up to us to bring vision and training to our people so that
harvests will become as plentiful as God intended.
We have planted agricultural initiatives (farms w/ community education
components) in Samba, Kamungu (Kabongo), Kamisamba, Muanza Seya,
Manono, Kanene, Kaniama, Lunge, and Nyembo Umpungu. Currently, only
Kamisamba, Lunge, and Nyembo Umpungu farms are functioning due to the
devastation of the recent war. Now that peace has returned, it is up to
us to work quickly to bring seeds, equipment, and training programs
back to our hungry people.
UMCOR
(United Methodist Committee on
Relief) and
UMCOR-NGO
have partnered with us in this effort through agricultural education
and farming cooperatives projects.
