Welcome to the
Web site of the North Katanga Conference of the United
Methodist Church. Here in the Democratic
Republic of the Congo (DRC) we are creating
church-centered communities that care for the mind, the
body and the soul through new churches and pastors,
employment enterprises, agriculture, health care,
education, orphanages, and much more. Churches in
the DRC are often the only providers of education and
health care.

Dear Partner Conferences
Dear brothers, sisters, and friends,
In the name our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I would like to present
you with honor my best wishes for the New Year 2009.
Of course, the year 2008 has gone with all its mysteries.
However God continues to renew things from day to day.
Therefore, it is a great pleasure for us as people of God to share our
joys, sorrows, strengths, and weaknesses for the sake of strengthening
our mutual relationships.
We want to thank you sincerely for your moral, spiritual, and
financial support which brought materialization of the dreams of our
Conference. In return, we commit to be the good stewards to spread the
good news that you have planted in North Katanga through your actions.
Besides, we pray the Almighty God of grace and mercy to rescue the
world from the harsh economic crisis.
We finally engage to the continuation of our partnership.
With this letter, we enclose the newly produced brochure which
includes most information on North Katanga with its development.
May He who loves us more than anything make this year a year full of
